This one-of-a-kind program provides etiquette skills to students from the 4th to 6thgrade. A group fo 1500200 students is bussed to a local banquet hall and shown how to enter a formal dining room. They are taught to pull a chair out for their guest and how to set and eat at a formal table. The boys and girls are shown how to tie a real necktie, donated from around the world for this event.
Each table has a Prestige Club volunteer guiding the students on exactly how to properly dine as well as providing advice on social skills. The students are served a three course meal as the world famous Jon Saxx plays jazz for them. To end this amazing program, the students get a quick ballroom dance lessons and end dancing to a classic foxtrot.
Social skills have a major impact on success. This program visibly moves the school supervisors in attendance and the children leave with improved social and etiquette skills.
School administrators tell the Prestige Club they notice a profound difference in the students’ attitudes when they return to classes with one pointing out the class bully was seen pulling a chair out for a female student the very next day during lunch in the cafeteria!
